Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of quality, professional nursing care to the pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia, and/or operating room patients.
- Assess and maintain adequate ventilation, hemostasis, circulation, and level of consciousness.
- Provide quality patient education.
- Recognize patient complications.
- Insure safety and comfort.
- Participate in Total Quality/Risk Management Committee activities.
- Compile monthly statistics as necessary.
- Assure adequate equipment and supplies as necessary for quality care delivery.
- Adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the Center.
- Render professional quality patient care to all patients.
- Demonstrate good leadership skills and promote growth of nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Current State Issued RN License.
- Minimum 1 year of Operating room or Pre-OP/PACU Cirulatiing experience. (REQUIRED)
- Current BLS & ACLS certification required.
- Prior experience in ASC preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing program.
