Duties
- Operate industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines to process linens and textiles efficiently
- Handle materials with care during sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to safety standards in production environments
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving bulky linens or laundry carts while following proper manual handling procedures
- Monitor equipment operation to prevent malfunctions and report any issues promptly for maintenance or repair
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to industrial dryers, chemicals used in dry cleaning, and handling of laundry materials
- Support team members by organizing supplies and managing materials handling processes to optimize workflow
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry laundry operations is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively within safety standards in production environments
- Comfort working with industrial laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently in a team setting
