American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and travel experience for a 13-week contract at a community hospital in Pennsylvania.

Community hospital setting in Pennsylvania

MRI department with a 1:1 patient ratio
-
Rotating schedule with an 8-days-on, 6-days-off pattern; manager is willing to discuss schedule flexibility during the interview
-
Mix of 12-hour, 10-hour, 8-hour, and 6-hour shifts spanning Wednesday through Wednesday, with days off Thursday through Tuesday
-
Day shifts with start times ranging from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM depending on the day
-
Every other weekend required
-
On-call once per month

Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
May be required to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
-
Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2+ years preferred
-
ARRT (MR) and current BLS (AHA only) required
-
Active PA or Compact RN license required if applicable

Travel experience preferred

Community hospital experience preferred

Proficiency in standard MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal imaging
-
Preferred skills include abdominal and head MRA/MRV, MRCP, spinal imaging, special imaging procedures (CINE, gradient echo, MIP, MPR, spin echo, diffusion), and full musculoskeletal series

Ability to prepare and/or administer contrast media and follow radiation safety and isolation precaution protocols

Siemens equipment experience preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two supervisor references preferred

Must be available to work every other holiday

Perform a wide range of MRI exams including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, pelvic, and vascular studies

Special imaging procedures include CINE CSF flow studies, diffusion imaging, gradient echo, image post-processing, and peripheral MRA
-
Approximately 1 hour of pre-start online modules must be completed before entering the facility

Fingerprinting and drug screen must be completed within 24–48 hours of contract signing
-
Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment

Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate

Travel pairs may be accepted based on facility need; same schedule cannot be guaranteed
