Live-In Nanny / Mother's Helper — Bel Air, CA
Busy Bel Air family is looking for their next long-term live-in nanny and right-hand support for mom. They have three little ones (ages 5, 4, and 2) with a new baby arriving this fall, and are looking for someone who is warm, flexible, and truly invested in becoming part of the family long-term. The older two children are in school full-time and the 2-year-old attends school until noon daily, so you will never have all the children at the same time — and mom is very hands-on and present throughout the day. However it is important that you are comfortable with having the 3 older children at one time and must have experience with families with multiple kids. The family is seeking someone mature but also able to be high energy and active with 3 children all day!
About the Role This is a true hybrid nanny/mother's helper position. Primary responsibilities include helping get the children ready for school in the mornings, assisting with the new baby and infant care, light household upkeep, running errands, and being flexible to support mom as needed. No deep cleaning is required as they have a housekeeping team in place but day to day housekeeping and upkeep is required. Family seeks a loving, patient, kind and calm nanny to join their family.
Schedule Monday late afternoon through Saturday evening.
Compensation & Accommodations This is a salaried position starting at $1,550/week + DOE. A private bedroom and private bathroom are provided. A nanny vehicle is also provided for use.
Requirements
- Legal U.S. working status required
- Minimum of 5 years professional (after age 18) full-time experience
- Clean driving record required (vehicle provided), Drivers License required
- Verified newborn and infant experience required
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for up to 6 weeks at a time
- Must be a confident, independent swimmer
- Must be comfortable around dogs
This is a live-in, long-term position only. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to a live-in arrangement.
Pay: $1,550.00 - $1,700.00 per week
