We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong neonatal respiratory care experience and be confident working independently in a fast-paced NICU environment. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

- Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – NICU
- Location: Seattle, Washington
- Shift: Night Shift (3×12 hours) | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
- Duration: 13 Weeks with further possible extension
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- NICU experience is required
- Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist License
- Active RRT credential
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records
- Must be able to independently intubate neonates
- Experience with ventilators such as Draeger and Servo I
- First-time travelers are accepted
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients.
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients requiring respiratory support.
- Perform neonatal intubation, extubation, airway management, suctioning, and tracheostomy care.
- Manage mechanical ventilation, including CPAP, BiPAP, high-frequency oscillators, and high-frequency jet ventilators.
- Administer respiratory medications using nebulizers, inhalers, and aerosol delivery systems.
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and provide respiratory support during neonatal emergencies.
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and monitor patient response to therapy.
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment, including nitric oxide delivery systems and high-flow nasal cannula.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other units or campuses as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
