Thank you for considering this position. We are looking for an Acting Coach that already has teaching experience with children to assist us in our Double Threat Program (Singing and Acting) which is on Tuesdays and Thursdays and begins in September (we are doing the Musical Revue Pure Imagination from MTI - parts of it, not all of it).
The weekly schedule (must be able to work these days):
Tuesdays 5pm - 7pm
Thursdays 5pm - 7pm
Duties to include:
- Learn the production/script of the Musical Revue
- Attend rehearsals
- Play acting games, improvisation activities, and other acting activities to develop our young budding thespians!
Preferences in hiring:
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- Have previous experience teaching children in a group setting
- Have previous verifiable work history of dependability and consistency
- Have previous Musical Theatre teaching experience
- Have directed or assistant-directed in previous productions
Requirements in hiring:
- Must be available for the days listed:
- Must be able to pass background checks (criminal)
- Must genuinely enjoy teaching children and have previous successful and verifiable experience teaching children ages 6-10)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $37.50 - $48.00 per hour
