Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with their luggage, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in lobby, hallways, storage areas, and other public spaces
- Support front desk operations by managing guest inquiries and providing information as needed
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies safely using manual handling techniques
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests promptly
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, including first aid procedures and emergency responses when necessary
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process guest payments or service requests efficiently
Requirements
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong customer service mindset is essential
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certifications to handle emergencies confidently
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and physical activity throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Experience with POS systems or front desk operations is a plus
- Resort or hotel experience will be considered an advantage but is not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
