Bob Mills Furniture is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Forklift Operator to assist with moving packages and materials throughout our facility. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in maintaining efficient warehouse operations while upholding the highest safety standards. As a Forklift Operator, you’ll be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and other storage areas. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a forklift operator.
Attention to detail
Capable of standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions.
Ability to safely operate warehouse vehicles and machinery.
