At Boro Bagels We’re a local café specializing in quality coffee, fresh bagels, and made-to-order sandwiches. We’re passionate about great food, warm service, and creating a welcoming vibe for our community. As we grow, we’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Barista and to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages to spec
- Make breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and other menu items to order
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, prep areas, and dining space
- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
- Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to management
- Deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Previous barista or food prep experience preferred but not required — we’re happy to train the right person
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Food Handler’s Certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)

NOTE: All employees start at $15 an hour but keep all tips through our point of sale system as well as cash. Your hourly pay is well over minimum wage. Tips are included in your weekly checks we are very high traffic business.
We are getting close to opening our second location which is 3 times the size so we are looking to onboard 4-6 new employees who are willing to grow with us. raises happen frequently for consistency and leadership skills.
