Preschool Teacher Aide Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated professional that is passionate about early education to join our at-home school as a Preschool Teacher Aide. In this position, you assist the primary classroom teacher with activities and learning exercises and help them maintain a friendly, inclusive atmosphere for all students. Depending on needs and class sizes, you may take small groups of students aside for separate activities. We provide excellent communication and customer service to our preschool parents.
Preschool Teacher Aide Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist primary teacher with activities and instruction
- Assist with daily farm and garden time
- Help keep learning areas tidy and safe
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere for all students
- Support children with individual needs
- Take pictures and videos daily
- Set-up and clean-up
Preschool Teacher Aide Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience not required
- A passion for early childhood education and helping children grow in positive ways
- Comfortable working with small farm animals
- Positive personality
- Excellent communication skills
- First Aid and CPR certification will need to be obtained prior to starting
- Current TB clearance will need to be obtained prior to starting
- Background check clearance
- Proof of immunizations
Part-time Mondays-Thursdays
Mondays & Wednesdays at our Preschool program location 8:15am-11:30am
Tuesdays & Thursdays at our Toddler program location 8:15am-11:15am
*Experience working with young children in a licensed educational environment or 12 ECE credits is a plus but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
