Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, professional Bartender/Server hybrid to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, balancing precise beverage craft with warm, proactive customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails and beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and professional guest experience.
- Offer guests informed recommendations, upselling appropriately.
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout shift.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including drink specials and new additions.
- Address all customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Work collaboratively with the bar and service team to ensure smooth operations.
- The ideal candidate for this position is adaptable and open to cross training.
- Serve responsibly in accordance with Massachusetts law, and Union Station policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment.
- Have a detailed resume including verifiable experience bartending.
- Familiarity utilizing POS (Toast familiarity a plus, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- TIPS is required, ServSafe Alcohol certification a plus
