Pay Package (Weekly - 36 Hours)
- Weekly Gross: $2,074.00
- Weekly Taxable: $828.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246.00
Hourly Breakdown
- Taxable Rate: $23.00/hr
- Blended Rate: $57.61/hr
- Overtime Rate: $34.50/hr
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbia, MO. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to medically complex patients requiring extended hospitalization, including those recovering from critical illness, respiratory failure, trauma, or complex surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medically complex LTAC patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure compliance with patient safety and infection control protocols
Job Requirements
- Active Missouri RN License or Compact State RN License
- BLS Certification Required
- Minimum 2 Years of Recent RN Experience Preferred
- Previous Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), Med Surg, Stepdown, ICU, or Progressive Care experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
