Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse – ED RN:
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions and acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patient conditions
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency treatments as prescribed
- Respond quickly to changes in patient status and emergency situations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective patient care
- Assist with emergency procedures and critical interventions
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, care instructions, and follow-up needs
Requirements for the Travel Nurse – ED RN:
- Active Massachusetts (MA) Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- TNCC Certification
- PALS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
