Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will create engaging learning experiences that foster childhood development and literacy education while ensuring a nurturing classroom environment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and support their growth across various developmental domains.
Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans tailored to preschool and toddler age groups, incorporating early intervention strategies and Montessori principles.
- Facilitate classroom activities that promote social-emotional growth, behavior management, and child welfare.
- Manage classroom environments effectively through strong classroom management skills, including lesson planning, behavior guidance, and classroom organization.
- Support children’s physical development through teaching physical education activities and engaging in hands-on childcare routines.
- Assess student progress using standardized testing methods and provide individualized tutoring or support as needed.
- Collaborate with families, specialists in special education, and other staff to ensure comprehensive early childhood education that meets each child's unique needs.
- Maintain detailed records of classroom activities, child development milestones, and lesson plans to ensure compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of early intervention practices, special education needs, and literacy education strategies.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and teaching physical education is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
