Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing Montessori-based curriculum and lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a calm, organized learning environment
- Engage with children through educational activities, and one-on-one support to foster social-emotional skills and independence
- Help prepare classroom materials and ensure all resources are accessible and well-maintained
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and promoting respectful interactions
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members to share progress updates and address any concerns or needs
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in childcare, daycare, preschool, or educational support roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods, childhood development, behavior management, and curriculum development
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while supporting individual student needs
