Position Summary
Ambilabs is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to join our growing team in Warren, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience troubleshooting electronics, repairing instruments, and supporting product development activities. This role is primarily onsite and may require occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic instruments and assemblies

Perform hands-on electronics testing and validation during product development

Use diagnostic equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments

Assemble, modify, and repair electronic and electro‑mechanical components

Safely and effectively use hand tools and power tools

Support engineering teams with prototype builds and iterative design improvements

Document repairs, test results, and procedures

Travel as needed to support customers, testing, or development activities
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred

Strong hands-on experience with electronics troubleshooting and instrument repair

Proficiency using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and general lab equipment

Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools

Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting product development, prototyping, or R&D environments

Experience working with scientific, analytical, or industrial instruments

Willingness and ability to travel occasionally
