Cargo Van Driver (Non-CDL) – OTR / Regional
F&M Enterprise Group LLC is looking for a reliable, professional, and dependable Cargo Van Driver to handle expedited freight and deliveries throughout regional and over-the-road routes.
This position is ideal for a driver who enjoys being on the road, can operate independently, communicates well, and takes responsibility for getting freight delivered safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver freight safely and on schedule
- Drive regional and over-the-road routes
- Maintain communication with dispatch throughout each trip
- Provide pickup and delivery updates as required
- Secure freight properly before transportation
- Complete basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep the cargo van clean and organized
- Maintain fuel receipts, delivery paperwork, and proof of delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures - Represent F&M Enterprise Group LLC professionally when dealing with customers, brokers, and shipping/receiving facilities
Driver Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Safe and responsible driving record
- Previous professional driving experience required
- Cargo van, courier, delivery, trucking, or expedited freight experience preferred
- Must have a reliable smartphone with GPS/navigation capability
- Must be dependable and communicate consistently with dispatch
- Must be able to safely load, unload, and secure freight when necessary
- Must be comfortable driving long distances - Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to work independently without constant supervision
Schedule
This is primarily an OTR/Regional position.
Drivers should be prepared to stay on the road for approximately 2–3 weeks at a time when needed. However, extended OTR availability is not required for every assignment, and scheduling may vary depending on available freight and routes.
Routes may include:
- Regional deliveries
- Multi-state deliveries
- Expedited freight
- Day and overnight driving
- Weekend assignments when needed
