We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing fabrication 3D Models and drawings for our product. Your innovative ideas and expertise will play a crucial role in designing products that meet our clients' specifications and requirements.
Working in a collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of Engineers to provide integrated and comprehensive solutions. Your strong technical knowledge and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software will be vital in developing accurate and efficient designs. Additionally, your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you resolve any design issues or challenges that may arise during the product development process.
Duties:
- Develop fabrication drawings and solid models from customer plans and specs utilizing Inventor software.
- Design and maintain accurate 3D models based on approved submittals, engineering standards, and manufacturing requirements.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle several projects in a fast-paced environment, attention to details is critical
- Create detailed material BOMs from engineering drawings and 3D models to support purchasing and inventory control.
- Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations by working on the shop floor to troubleshoot production issues, implement corrective actions, and improve product quality and efficiency.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or 7+ years experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or Engineering setting.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, Revit) for design and modeling.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and submittal packages
- Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
