Quick Lube Service Technician
Location: Vision Ford Lincoln – Wahpeton, ND
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $18 per hour
Job Description:
Vision Ford Lincoln is looking for a reliable and motivated Quick Lube Service Technician to join our high-energy service team. If you’re passionate about cars, love working with your hands, and want to grow in the automotive industry — this role is your entry lane to success! You’ll handle oil changes, inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance with speed, accuracy, and a customer-first attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Rotate tires and inspect tread wear
- Check and top off vehicle fluids
- Replace air/cabin filters and wiper blades
- Keep service bays clean and organized
- Follow dealership and OEM guidelines
- Communicate service needs clearly with advisors
- ✅ Assist with multi-point inspections
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Basic automotive/mechanical knowledge
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Eagerness to learn and advance in the trade
- Prior lube or light-duty tech experience is a plus (but not required!)
- Ability to navigate dealer software systems on computer and mobile devices swiftly and efficiently
