Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Diagnose and repair various equipment issues using schematics, technical manuals, and your mechanical knowledge.
- Perform appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist with construction or renovation projects related to facility maintenance as needed.
- Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or installations to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Experience in construction or facility maintenance projects is a plus.
