Paraprofessionals are individuals who assist certified teachers in the classroom with planning, instructing, and evaluating a specific grade level of students.

- Work closely with the school’s administration, Educational Coordinators and other content area specialists.
- Participate in team meetings. Communicate and share ideas and concerns with team classroom teacher and administration.
- Participate in staff In-Services
- Engage in continuing education and professional development activities such as trainings, workshops, and educational classes.
- High School Diploma
- Associates Degree or higher (preferred)
- Paraprofessional certificate from a state board of education (preferred)
- Classroom experience (preferred)
