what you’ll do guest experience + hospitality
Deliver consistent "fedwalop” service with Wagamama standards
Connect with guests in a genuine, energetic, and welcoming way
Create a lively, memorable atmosphere at the bar
regularly check in with guests to anticipate needs + deliver an exceptional experience
handle guest feedback or concerns professionally + escalate when needed
menu knowledge + engagement
know our food + drinks menu inside and out
confidently guide guests through the menu, including unfamiliar items + shared dining styles
provide thoughtful recommendations and engage in suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience
clearly communicate dietary restrictions, allergens, and modifications with accuracy
order accuracy + service execution
prepare drinks + cocktails accurately + efficiently according to our recipes
ensure all guest orders are correct + delivered promptly
accurately enter orders into pos systems, ensuring all modifications + special requests are clear
bar standards
maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
manage bar inventory + restock as needed
complete opening, side work, and closing duties to standard
team collaboration
work closely with servers, chefs, and management to create a memorable guest experience
work service well In a timely manner
support teammates during high-volume service periods
food + drink safety
follow all food safety + hygiene standards when handling drinks + garnishes
monitor storage, preparation, and service areas for cleanliness and compliance
adhere to responsible alcohol service and legal regulations at all times
skills + qualifications
previous experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant environment preferred
strong knowledge of cocktails, sake, beer, wine, and spirits
strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
must meet all legal requirements for serving alcohol
strong communication and teamwork skills
availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
physical requirements
ability to stand and walk for long periods
ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
