Adib's Rug Gallery is seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Gallery Assistant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about art, design, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with fine handmade rugs, have a creative eye, and be eager to contribute to all aspects of gallery operations.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide a warm, professional, and personalized gallery experience.
- Learn about handmade rugs and educate clients on their craftsmanship, origin, quality, and care.
- Maintain an organized, and visually appealing showroom.
- Assist with both in-gallery and off-site client appointments as needed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service throughout every stage of the client's purchasing experience.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the gallery and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- An appreciation for art, interior design, and quality craftsmanship.
- Comfortable using computers, social media platforms, and basic office software.
- Professional appearance with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate.
Schedule
- Full-time position (5 days per week).
- Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Saturday availability is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay of $19.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience.
