Job Summary
NAR is seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience while supporting daily restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and create a warm, professional first impression.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Coordinate with service, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
- Communicate menu information, specials, and restaurant offerings to guests.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and communicate special requests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Keep the host stand and dining areas organized, clean, and presentable.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred
- Previous Host/Hostess or hospitality experience.
- Experience with reservation and POS systems.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
