American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stress Testing position requiring GA or Compact RN licensure and prior travel nursing experience.

Work in the Cardiac Stress Testing unit of a hospital setting
-
Adult to geriatric patient population
-
Performs Exercise Stress Tests, Pharmacological Stress Tests (primarily Dobutamine), and Stress Echo procedures
-
Uses Epic and Pyxis systems
-
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
-
No weekend requirements
-
Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Dark blue scrub color required
-
Active GA or Compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of experience required
-
Previous travel nursing experience required
-
Experience obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG

Experience with medication administration and pharmacologic agents including Dobutamine

Epic charting system experience preferred
-
Perform cardiac stress testing procedures including exercise, pharmacological, and stress echo testing

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract

Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Previous Piedmont employees (perm, per diem, or FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
