Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with precision and integrity
- Upsell menu items or products to increase sales and promote specials or new offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring food safety compliance
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while supporting food service operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential
