5 Mile Offices is looking for licensed and credentialed professionals to lead short, live events for small local audiences in Redford and Livonia, Michigan.
You choose a topic in your area of expertise. We provide the venue, handle registration, and promote the event. You lead a 2-hour session for a small group of people who signed up because they want to learn about your subject.
What you would do:
- Lead a 2-hour live session on a topic you know well
- Present to a small, engaged group of 6 to 30 local attendees
- Share practical, useful information with your community
What we are looking for:
- An active license or credential in your field
- Comfort presenting to a small room
- A clear, useful topic your audience can take action on
Pay and details:
- $75 per hour honorarium, about $150 for a typical 2-hour event
- Paid per completed event as a 1099 independent contractor, not employment
- Events held at our Redford or Livonia location
- You choose your topic, and dates are arranged with us
This is a per-event speaking opportunity, not a salaried position. Speakers are independent presenters. Selection is based on topic fit and community interest, and is not guaranteed.
