Job Description
Caring Friends Health Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing and personal hygiene
- Dressing and grooming
- Toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Remind clients to take medications as directed
- Document care provided and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans and agency policies
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA/GNA certification or HHA certification
- Current CPR certification (preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous home care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
