Thai by Day is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Busser / Food Runner to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. In addition to supporting the dining room, this team member will assist with phone orders and takeout operations.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages to guests accurately and efficiently
- Clear, clean, and reset tables
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, lobby, and service areas
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally
- Take and process takeout orders accurately
- Assist customers with menu questions and recommendations
- Package and organize takeout orders
- Restock supplies and complete side work as assigned
- Support front-of-house and kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic cash handling and order-taking skills preferred
- Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
