River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a part-time Custodian/Housekeeper for Saturday and Sunday, late day/evening shifts. Ideally the hours would be 2pm – 10+pm with some flexibility on starting time. The pay range for this position is $14.50 - $16.50 per hour based on verifiable experience.
Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.
River Crest offers an over-market wage as well as a great work environment. Part time employees may be offered participation in our 401(k) plan after 1 year if they are over age 18 and have worked over 1,000 hours. All employees enjoy Chef-inspired meals in our Staff Dining Room.
JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian/Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all Club areas and reporting any damage or maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping Departments.
QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work evening shifts.

Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions

A high school education or equivalent is required
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS:

Cleans indoor furniture to include, but not limited to:

Dusting
-
Disinfecting telephones

Polishing brass and silver

Cleans bathrooms to include, but not limited to:

Toilets
-
Sinks and counters
-
Showers
-
Mirrors
-
Cleans floors and carpets to include, but not limited to:

Sweeps patio area(s) and employee entrance hallway

Empties wastebaskets throughout the Club

Reports maintenance problems to the Building Maintenance or Housekeeping departments, including, but not limited to:

Property damage
-
Burned out light bulbs
- Plumbing problems

Complete other duties as assigned or directed.

Determines when damage and maintenance issues need to be reported to department heads; and prioritizes work areas to be completed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach

Must be able to work with cleaning supplies and chemicals.
