The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and committed to ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. Success in this role depends just as much on strong administrative skills as it does on providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Greet prospective tenants warmly and provide detailed tours of available apartments, highlighting features and amenities to foster interest
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes, ensuring all documentation complies with Fair Housing regulations and local landlord-tenant laws
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite to input data accurately, track leads, and manage tenant information
- Conduct thorough background checks, to verify eligibility
- Handle lease negotiations professionally, upselling additional services or amenities to enhance occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction
- Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to leasing activities
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with leasing commitments and tenant expectations
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail are required.
- Ability to accurately complete and manage paperwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong administrative and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to follow established processes and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of organization.
- Experience with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and negotiation abilities
