Summary
As a Pre-School Teacher Assistant, you will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Your core skills in classroom management and communication will be essential as you interact with students and assist in daily activities. With a focus on early childhood education, you will help implement lesson plans and promote developmental milestones. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Foster communication with children and parents to enhance developmental progress.
- Supervise children during playtime and structured activities, ensuring safety and well-being.
- Help with the preparation of educational materials and classroom resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills.
This program year position assists Teacher in delivery of Head Start services regarding child development and education for center-based children ages 3 – 5 years old. Candidate must have minimal of a high school diploma or equivalent. CDA is a plus.

Valid Driver's License and transportation.
Must be able to lift at least 45 pounds.
Requires Fingerprint and CARI Clearances as well.
