We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
- Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to support clients’ overall health goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to occupational health and anatomy knowledge.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive experience for clients.
- Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Knowledge of physiology to enhance treatment efficacy.
- Previous experience in a med spa or similar setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
