Position Overview: The Director of Enterprise Evolution will help develop the company’s internal operating culture, business systems, communication standards, leadership practices, and execution framework as the company scales. This person will work closely with executive leadership to turn vision into structure, structure into action, and action into measurable results.
This role exists to bring alignment, momentum, clarity, and intelligent pressure to a growing organization. This role is for a rare person who can think progressively, execute aggressively, communicate with softness, and operate with mature business discipline. The right candidate will not be satisfied by maintaining what already exists. They will be drawn to building what does not yet fully exist.
This is not a conventional cannabis job. This is an opportunity to help shape a sovereign, vertically integrated enterprise at an early and defining stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help design and strengthen company culture during a rapid growth phase.
- Build systems that improve accountability, communication, and execution.
- Support leadership in translating strategy into operational priorities.
- Identify organizational gaps before they become structural problems.
- Improve workflows across departments, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, compliance, administration, and future cultivation.
- Help recruit, evaluate, mentor, and develop high-performing team members.
- Create clarity where ambiguity exists.
- Maintain urgency without creating unnecessary chaos.
- Build trust across teams through consistency, professionalism, and emotional maturity.
- Support executive decision-making with clear analysis, direct communication, and practical recommendations.
- Help establish standards for meetings, reporting, follow-through, internal communication, and leadership behavior.
- Protect the long-term mission of the company while driving short-term execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Preferably in business, operations management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of regulated industries (cannabis experience strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with cannabis seed-to-sale tracking systems and retail POS systems, such as Metrc, BioTrack, Dutchie, Sweede or similar systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Successful applicants must successfully perform a background check and be licensable in accordance with the Band’s Cannabis Ordinance.
- Tribal Preference in hiring shall apply.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $62,000 – $72,000 (FLSA Exempt) dependent on experience.
- Bonus potential dependent on revenue growth and profitability.
