This opportunity offers a full-time contract position working with a caseload of 21 students, providing dedicated resource support services and facilitating IEP blocks within a collaborative educational environment. The schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The position is open immediately and continues through June 2027, offering a stable opportunity to help students reach their goals while working alongside experienced educators.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California Mild/Moderate Education Specialist Credential (required)
- Experience in Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and IEP processes preferred
- Skilled in designing, implementing, and monitoring individualized academic interventions
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, parents, and service providers
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for diverse learners
Essential Responsibilities:
- Support a caseload of approximately 21 high school students within RSP resource support classes
- Deliver instructional services and modifications as outlined in each student’s IEP
- Conduct progress monitoring, assessments, and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and revise individualized goals
- Provide case management and document ongoing student progress
- Participate in professional development as required
