Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
We're seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for candidates who already hold a wastewater operator certification or are actively working toward certification.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems and equipment
- Collect samples and perform routine testing
- Adjust treatment processes to maintain compliance and efficiency
- Complete inspections, preventative maintenance, and documentation
- Respond to operational issues and emergency situations as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Tennessee Wastewater Operator Certification preferred
- Candidates must be able and willing to obtain and progress toward a Tennessee Class I Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certification
- 2+ years of wastewater treatment, water treatment, or related industrial operations experience preferred
Salary:
- Salary range starts at $25 per hour but negotiable based on experience.
