Job Description:
We are seeking an Experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic Hospitalist Team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to hospitalized patients across various specialties. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, assisting with the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care throughout their hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and take medical histories of hospitalized patients.

Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, and hospital staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure continuity of care from admission to discharge.

Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and laboratory results.

Provide ongoing assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including but not limited to respiratory infections, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and post-surgical complications.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.

Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatments, and care plans.

Respond to medical emergencies, including performing necessary interventions and managing acute situations.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and smooth transitions of care.

Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and care planning meetings.

Assist in discharge planning and provide patients with appropriate post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications:

Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active, unrestricted license.

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a hospitalist or in an inpatient care setting.

Proficiency in performing physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting medical data.

Strong understanding of hospital operations, policies, and multidisciplinary team dynamics.

Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining a professional demeanor.
