Chen Chen’s Nashville Hot Chicken is hiring a friendly, reliable Front of House Cashier for our Midtown Nashville location.
The most important part of this role is creating a great guest experience. We’re looking for someone who is genuinely welcoming, attentive, and able to make every guest feel taken care of from the moment they walk in until they leave.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
- Help guests understand the menu and make recommendations
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the POS system and handle payments
- Manage DoorDash, Uber Eats, and other third-party delivery orders
- Communicate professionally with delivery drivers and ensure orders are complete
- Check in on dine-in guests and address questions or concerns quickly
- Pack and hand off dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately
- Keep the front counter and dining area clean, organized, and welcoming
- Restock FOH supplies and help the team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Strong focus on hospitality and guest experience
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Able to stay calm and organized during busy rushes
- Previous DoorDash, Uber Eats, or third-party delivery platform experience preferred
- Restaurant or cashier experience preferred
- Weekend availability is a plus
Pay: $14–$17/hour plus tips, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time and part-time available
Location: Midtown Nashville
