What You'll Do:

Spends more than 50% of time acting as liaison between field personnel and landowners.

Communicates or coordinates with landowners and field personnel prior, during and after maintenance activity on the pipeline system regarding access and timing.

Negotiates damage settlements with landowners within prescribed parameters.

Prepares check requests, construction field notes, and assists the Landman with tracking the Right of Way activity.

Maintains maintenance schedules, contact information and the federally required PL302 reporting.

Assists in maintaining digital databases using GIS software for the land department’s legal records and assets.

Creates maps through online mapping for the Land Department, field personnel and landowners.

Performs updates to the geometry and attribute values of GIS data from source documents such as hard-copy maps, land records, deeds, and varying types of digital data.

Enters various documents into GIS system and assists in creating links for GIS system.

Conducts research to verify GIS data from source documents.

Maintains County Road, Right of Way, and Parcel information; updates all databases, research through state/local/federal websites, and disseminates the GIS layers as appropriate.

Assists with GIS data for use in other systems or for distribution.

Maintains quality data management, paper and electronic file organization and data integrity.

Assists in managing data for the True companies’ internal map program, inputs data and hyperlinks of scanned documents, stores paper files appropriately.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
-
An Associate’s degree with three to five (3-5) years of experience in an oil and gas company; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Ability to respond to requests for service and assistance.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to write clearly and informatively, and to read and interpret written information.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

English language fluency, verbal and written.

Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
