As the Credit Analyst, you will conduct credit investigations and analyze credit information pertaining to loans under direction supervision.
- Process incoming credit applications and work with customers to ensure completeness of credit applications.
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for prospective customers. Using financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references and more.
- Conduct annual credit reviews on existing customer base to ensure minimal deterioration of existing credit portfolio.
- Conduct ad-hoc credit reviews on existing customer base to ensure proper flow of orders.
- Monitor parts and service queue and release orders based off of credit availability and risk to company.
- Approve and set credit limits, up to authorized amounts. Prepare file and forward recommendation to management for any account over the assigned authorization level.
- Initial set up and ongoing maintenance of accounts in DBS/D365.
- Collaborate with collection to ensure high risk accounts are being actively contacted.
- May maintain a limited number of accounts in a collections portfolio.
- Participate in required safety programs, and working in a safe manner
- Miscellaneous duties and reports as assigned by manager
To be successful in this position you should have prior account management experience or training. Excellent customer service, organizational and communication skills are also required.
- High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
