Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club is a premier country club community nestled in the heart of the Nature Coast. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist for a full-time position with our team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, issuing payments, recording customer payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with account reconciliations. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with numbers, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review invoices for proper documentation and approvals
- Prepare and process vendor payments
- Maintain vendor records and respond to payment inquiries
- Record and apply customer payments
- Prepare and send customer invoices and statements
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts
- Assist with bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Research and resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
- Assist with month-end accounting procedures
- Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal departments
- Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Previous accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Sage 300 preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MUST live within a commutable distance to Citrus County.
