About the Role
We are hiring a friendly and dependable team member to support a growing real estate media company serving the Rapid City area.
This is a field-based, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being out in the field, and interacting with people.
No prior photography experience is required. Paid training, company equipment, and a clear process are provided.
Responsibilities
- Travel locally to residential properties for scheduled appointments
- Capture interior and exterior photos using a structured shot list
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and real estate agents
- Upload photos after each shoot (no editing required)
- Learn additional services such as drone and video over time
Most photographers complete 2-4 properties per day depending on scheduling.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday availability required
- Typical hours between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Approximately 15 hours per week to start
- Schedule may vary based on booking volume
- Local travel between appointments required
Compensation
- Paid training at $15/hour
- Standard appointments = $25 per scheduled hour on-site time
- Drone-certified work = $30 per scheduled hour
- Video services average $35 per scheduled hour
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.30 per mile
Compensation increases with experience and additional services.
Requirements
- Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Rapid City, SD
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Professional and friendly communication skills
- Ability to follow a checklist and stay organized
- Comfortable using basic technology and mobile apps
Photography experience is a plus, but not required.
