Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care services. We are currently hiring a Culinary Aide to join our culinary team. This position plays an important role in creating a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents and guests.
Set up dining areas and make sure they are clean, organized, and ready for meal service.
Assist residents with meal selections and meal delivery.
Provide friendly and prompt beverage service.
Clear plates, silverware, and other dining items throughout meal service.
Keep food, beverages, utensils, and dining supplies stocked and presentable.
Clean and sanitize tables, dining areas, kitchen spaces, and food preparation areas.
Reset dining rooms for upcoming meals.
Operate the dish machine and wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, and silverware.
Put away clean dishes and silverware and keep foodservice areas organized.
Clean and sanitize food carts and other food delivery equipment.
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.
Work closely with culinary team members to keep meal service running smoothly.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with seniors.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
Flexibility to work scheduled mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred: Previous foodservice, dining, or kitchen experience, especially in senior living or healthcare.
