We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our retail property. This role is essential for deterring unwanted activity, managing property compliance, and ensuring the safety of tenants and customers. The ideal candidate is a high-visibility professional with strong situational awareness and the ability to handle property enforcement with firmness and discretion.
Primary Responsibilities
Patrol & Visibility: Conduct regular foot patrols of all designated areas, including parking lots, common spaces, vacant units, and the rear of the property. High visibility is required to deter loitering and unauthorized activity.
Property Enforcement: Remove all transients from the property. Enforce "No Overnight Parking," "No Loitering," and "No Camping" policies strictly.
Tenant Relations: All Officers are required to introduce themselves to all Store Managers upon arrival. Provide professional assistance to tenants and notify law enforcement of shoplifting incidents as necessary.
Vehicle Protocol: Park marked vehicles in various areas of the property to maintain a presence. Officers must not remain stationed inside the vehicle; active foot patrols are mandatory.
Incident Reporting: Submit detailed electronic reports via TrackTik for the following:
Transient activity
Maintenance issues & safety hazards
Trash overflow
Trespassing
Overnight vehicle camping
Operational Site Details
Priority Areas: The rear of the following stores must be prioritized during patrols

Schedule:
Mon-Fri 11am-5pm
Technology: Officers are required to acknowledge scheduled shifts and submit Daily Activity Reports (DARs) using the TrackTik app.
Breaks: Officers are required to clock out for lunch. No exceptions.
Uniform Standards: Wear the proper uniform, badge, and Guard Card at all times. Use of unauthorized equipment (firearms, personal vehicles, or personal surveillance tools) is strictly prohibited.
Communication: Maintain regular communication with management and report security breaches or hazards immediately to your supervisor.
Qualifications
Licensing: Must possess a valid security license/Guard Card as required by state regulations.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using smartphone applications (TrackTik) for clocking in/out and digital tour reporting.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with store managers and writing clear incident reports.
Physical Requirements: Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform consistent foot patrols in various weather conditions.
