Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring food handling procedures meet health regulations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper storage, temperature control, and food handling techniques
- Support quick service operations by managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Engage in basic math calculations for sales transactions, change handling, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
