What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to the assignment’s start)
- Experience with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills addressing speech, language, social communication, and cognitive-communication needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments for students with suspected speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on communication disorders
