Starting wage is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on position. Shift premium on second shift is an additional $2.00 per hour.($900 REFERRAL BONUS)

American Panel is a manufacturer of walk-in cooler and freezers established in 1963. We have two manufacturing facilities located in Ocala off Baseline Rd. (SR 35).

Job Duties: Setup calibrate and operate machines, which includes the following;
1. Setup for proper bend lengths, contours, and widths
2. Program bend sequences, metal thickness, lengths & widths of parts unto control panel
3. Read bend sequences and position metal for bend sequences
4. Adjust degree of bends based on metal characteristics
5. Interpret metal cut sheets to program correct bends
6. Operate equipment in a safe manner following all safety guidelines
7. Clean & Inspect machines in work area daily
8. Record production requirements
9. Learn to program parts
10. Follow production instructions requested by supervisor & leadsperson
Requirements include:
Highly motivated
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift and carry 50 - 75 lb.
Read a tape measure to the 32nd
Willing to work overtime and some Saturday’s during our busy season
Quality and detail oriented
Ability to train others and give directions
Pervious Sheet metal (CNC) experience is a plus
Some positions require computer literacy, good typing skills, excellent hand and eye coordination, and previous CNC experience (as a plus).
Hours of Work
1st shift 7:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday
2nd shift 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday - Friday
