Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to provide administrative and operational support to the sales team. This position will play an important role in bringing structure, consistency, and reliability to the sales process by ensuring reports, follow-ups, documentation, and other sales-related activities are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working with systems, enjoys organization and detail, and is willing and able to learn new processes and software. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
This position may begin on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week) with the potential to grow into a full-time position, depending on business needs and the candidate's capabilities and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the sales team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports, tracking tools, and spreadsheets.
- Prepare, update, and distribute recurring sales reports and other requested information.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure reports and assignments are completed and delivered on time.
- Maintain follow-up schedules and ensure outstanding items are addressed in a timely manner.
- Track customer inquiries, quotes, opportunities, and other sales activities as needed.
- Assist sales team members with gathering information and preparing materials for customers and prospects.
- Enter, organize, and maintain information within company systems and databases.
- Help improve organization and consistency within sales processes and workflows.
- Identify items requiring follow-up and proactively communicate with the appropriate team members.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare correspondence, documents, and other materials using Microsoft Word.
- Support the sales team with special projects and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Learn and utilize company-specific systems, processes, and software.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, spreadsheets, and other business software.
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong follow-through and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proactive approach to identifying outstanding tasks and ensuring they are completed.
- Ability to bring structure, consistency, and reliability to a fast-paced sales environment.
- Previous experience in sales support, sales operations, customer service, administration, or a similar role is preferred.

Pay: $25.09 - $30.22 per hour
