Now Seeking Experienced Licensed Nail TechniciansCommission-Based Opportunity (1099 NEC)
UNIIK DESIGNZ LLC is currently seeking experienced, professional nail technicians to join our luxury salon environment under a 1099 NEC independent contractor agreement.
This is NOT a W-2 hourly employee position.This is a commission-based opportunity only for established professionals looking to grow within a high-end, precision-focused salon environment.
Compensation Structure
- 60/40 Commission Split
- Technician receives 60%
- Salon retains 40%
Technicians are paid weekly every Monday.
At the end of the year, all contractors will receive a 1099 NEC prepared through our CPA/bookkeeping system.

Important Transparency
We are looking specifically for:
- Nail technicians who already have clientele
- Professionals capable of building and retaining clients
- Self-motivated individuals who actively promote themselves
We do NOT guarantee clients.We do receive walk-ins and salon traffic, and contractors may service those clients when available, but this opportunity is designed primarily for technicians who are already established or actively building their business.
This is not a “sit and wait for clients” environment.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking:
- Active Florida Nail Technician or Cosmetology License
- Minimum preferred experience: 10+ years
- Veterans of the industry
- Professionals with strong work ethic and consistency
- Technicians experienced in:
- Gel-X
- Acrylic
- Builder Gel
- Rubber Base Gel
- Structured Gel
- E-file work
- Nail shaping & structure
Must be comfortable handling:
- Minimum 2–4 clients daily
- Fast-paced but quality-focused work
- Professional client interaction
- High sanitation standards
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality manicures and pedicures
- Perform structured nail enhancements professionally
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workstation
- Build and retain clientele
- Stay current on techniques, trends, and products
- Represent the salon professionally at all times
