Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production shift employees and machines. They will ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· Train, mentor, and manages production employees on the assigned shift.
· Oversee the daily workflow and production of the assigned shift.
· Make sure the production schedule is on target and correct.
· Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
· Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
· Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
· Ensure that products are identified, labeled and warehoused correctly.
· Troubleshoots issues that arise.
· Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
· Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Ensures shift paperwork is completed, signed, and accurately filled out.
· Move or transfer labor to essential or priority assets.
· Consult with other managers and supervisors on any essential information.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
· Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
· Must be able to make quick and accurate decisions.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports and logs.
Education and Experience:
· Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Prior knowledge of carton manufacturing is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to traverse the production facility.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
· Plant floor is not climate controlled during summer months.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
